What is VELOG SERVICE?
It is an express service with set delivery times and prices, and several categories to best meet the client's needs. Depending on the destination, the transportation can be by air or road. The shipment may arrive in a few hours or days, and the delivery time can be scheduled or not.
What is the deadline for me to send a shipment and have it arrive the next day.
Depending on the point of origin and destination, there may be a deadline to allow for a shipment to arrive the next day. In these modalities we have: VELOG 1st FLIGHT - VELOG NEXT MORNING - VELOG. It is necessary to verify the client's needs and the times available, which vary from place to place.
Supposing the cargo to be shipped by VELOG service is dispatched after 6 pm to a city where the deadline is D+1: Could it possibly be delivered on the next working day?
No. Dispatching or shipping with the VELOG service after 6 pm will be considered as of the next day. This is because our Outlets have predefined hours for cargo movement, and some dispatching might occur after this movement.
Is there a fee for payment on delivery? How much is it?
To shipments through VELOG SERVICE with freight paid on delivery are added R$5.00.
What documentation is required to send a shipment through VELOG SERVICE?
For documents, papers and objects of personal use, a declaration in two copies providing the sender and recipient's details, a description of the cargo and reason for sending it, with a statement saying that the shipment is not for commercial purposes; for other items, an Invoice is necessary.
How is the VELOG SERVICE freight calculated and what do I need to get this value?
The rates vary according to the origin and destination. The client must provide certain details: number of items - total weight - dimensions in centimeters - price on the Invoice, if there is one. The rates that follow are approximate. When the cargo is delivered for shipment, the calculation will be made.

How can I track my VELOG 1st FLIGHT airway bill?
Through the VARIG LOG website (www.variglog.com)
Through the VARIG LOG Customer Support, telephone (11) 3119 7003 (Greater São Paulo) or 0300 788 7003 (Other Cities). Tracking can be done through the Center using the number of the shipment's airway bill, or the name of the sender and/or receiver.
What is VELOG 1st Flight SERVICE?
It is an exclusive service for cities with our flight service. It guarantees the shipment of your cargo on the first available flight, with a door-to-door option and dispatch from stores, CODs and airports. The payment can be made at the point of origin or *destination.
There is a guaranteed delivery time that is determined at the time of shipment, or you get double your freight cost back if the deadline is not met.
Can VELOG 1st FLIGHT be sent to a small city?
If the city is included in the service (listed on the tables), the shipment is possible.
Is it possible to send a 200kg cargo by VELOG 1st FLIGHT service?
Yes, as long as it can be divided into two airway bills; it is also necessary to divide the Invoice in such a way that there is one Invoice per airway bill.
How do I obtain information about VELOG 1st FLIGHT SERVICE dispatch times?
Through Customer Support, it is only possible to obtain information about dispatch times from the airport cargo terminals. To consult the dispatch times at the district Outlets, the client should contact the Outlet by telephone.
In what situations do I have the right for compensation for delivery delay through VELOG SERVICE?
VELOG - there is no compensation for delivery delays
VELOG 1st FLIGHT - VELOG NEXT MORNING - VELOG INTERNATIONAL - if the delivery is made after the stipulated timeframe and if the responsibility for the delay is VELOG's, the sender will receive double the freight cost paid. In the case of the freight being paid at the destination (only for VELOG 1st FLIGHT - NEXT MORNING), the recipient will be exempted from paying the freight in the event of a delay in delivery.
What do I need to send a shipment with the freight to be paid at the destination?
For a shipment to be sent with the freight to be paid at the destination, the product must have an Invoice, and the price on the Invoice must be at least double the freight price.
Is it necessary to use the standard VELOG SERVICE packing?
No. The client can use any available packing. For the services: VELOG 1st FLIGHT - INTERNATIONAL packing is not charged.
What is Velog Next Morning Service?
Velog Next Morning Service is available only at locations where home delivery is possible before 12 o'clock noon the next day.
Shipments of up to 45 kg are allowed, as long as the size of the item is compatible with the involved aircraft and vehicles. In the case of weight over this limit, the franchise will be responsible for the shipment.
What is the Velog Small Objects Service?
This service is limited to companies (i.e. not for individuals) and is aimed to businesses shipments of up to 750g per UNIT. The marketing information about this service can be obtained through the VARIG LOG outlet nearest your business.
How is the Velog Small Objects freight calculated and what is needed to get this price?
All the information referring to the Velog Small Objects service can be obtained through the VARIG Log outlet nearest you.
What is Municipal and State Velog?
This service is aimed at attending to shipments within the same city and within the same state. It will deliver up to 100 kg per airway bill. Any information referring to this service can be requested from the Varig Log outlet nearest you.
How is the Municipal and State Velog freight calculated and what do I need to do to get this price?
All the information referring to the Velog Small Objects service can obtained through the VARIG Log outlet nearest you.
What is Velog International?
It is an express shipment service abroad, door-to-door, or airport-to-door, with no need for reservations, customs clearance included, and a delivery term guarantee: in case the shipment is not available at the destination or delivery is not made within the determined timeframe, the freight will be paid back in double to the sender. It is classified as Documents (no tax is charged and clearance is quicker) and/or Shipments (tax is charged and clearance takes longer because the taxes need to be paid before clearance).
How long will it take for my shipment to be delivered abroad?
To confirm delivery terms, you will need to contact our Customer Support and provide information about the destination (country - name of city - postal code)
Is there a collection fee for sending a document via Velog International?
No, the Velog International service freight includes all taxes.
What are the maximum dimensions for a shipment on a Velog route running a 737?
The maximum dimensions are: up to 176 cm in length x 114 cm in width x 86 cm in height.
